They'll Never Find Us is the alternate ending of the Aeterno story, where instead of completing his assigned task of repairing the course of time, our hero ends his journey through the ages prematurely. He rescues the lost love of his own past instead, whisking her away to a period of history where no one would ever be able to find them. Together they doom the last remnants of humanity at the end of time, but they live on in peace and let the future take its course unaltered.
