We're back! After 7 years since our last collaboration @Nirre and I have come to present another song, this time with a cyberpunk twist. Cities in the Distance is about hope in the confines of one of Earth's last cities, where life seems so bleak and unchanging. The song dreams of the cities some say lie outside the known places, where freedom lies and escape can be found. The whole album is full of similar cyberpunk goodness as well, and will be arriving along with this song to Spotify in 1-5 days or so.

Lyrics:
The rain pours longer every night
The neon glows a lullaby
And it's haunted
Haunted with our pride
Corruption intertwined with greed
Performing interchangeably
But I wanted
I wanted to be free
A system of the absolutes
Distract to keep the people mute
And we'll all move along
But somewhere it's a different show
The re-ignition starts to glow
Far away now
They sing a brand new song
Now from the shadows
I can see their light
The lone stars shine
On the world's last night
Trapped in the veil
I've only heard their cries
The cities chanting
Their last reprise
Subsections of an institute
The work of bureaucratic brutes
They're trying
Trying to save face
But citizens of darker times
Have learned to question better lies
While they're running
Running out of space
But maybe there's one last resort
When our resources come up short
A light on the horizon shines alone
The cities in the distance live
With sanctuary left to give
Resistance soon ignites into a glow
Raise
Your hands upwards in praise
Not of the gods but rather
The human cause undying
The fear
Has held us back for years
We sold our hearts for nothing
We wasted our own time
At fault
With eyes on you all
They kept us scared and silent
And desperate to survive
The light
Grows closer every night
So we will sate our hunger
And know the world revived

![Aviators - Someone Like Me (Acoustic Version) [feat. Mandopony]
Someone Like Me has always meant a lot to me, more than most of my own songs, and I was inspired to do an acoustic version when it was requested by everyone on Tumblr. A last-minute idea led to the duet between myself and Mandopony, and in the end, we have this heartfelt, emotional ballad! Enjoy!

Lyrics:
Im feeling like a photograph
Life never changes but it goes by fast
Far too fast for me to catch
They tell me Im too insecure, that
I should believe in myself more
If only it was as easy as that
Sometimes I just feel like
A stranger in my life
Sometimes I dont feel right at all
I may be lonely
But maybe Im supposed to be cuz
No ones there to hear me when I call
Things get complicated
So Ive watched and waited
For the moment Ill find
Someone like me
I feel so underrated
Some just leave me frustrated
Feels like Ill never find
Someone like me
My wings feel broken but they work fine
I guess confidence never was mine
A harsh word can leave me stunned
Some say Im unique and others strange
Some say Im just living up to my name
But I cant be the only one
Sometimes I just feel like
A stranger in my life
Sometimes I dont feel right at all
I may be lonely
But maybe Im supposed to be cuz
No ones there to hear me when I call
Just when I thought I was all alone
You came and showed me Im not on my own
Im not that different, youve made me see
Ive finally found someone like me
Things get complicated
So Ive watched and waited
For the moment Ill find
Someone like me
I feel so underrated
Some just leave me frustrated
Feels like Ill never find
