This one was a much bigger task than we expected, but I think it turned out brilliant!!
Emmis and my styles were so similar and flowy that I decided to add watermarks since you just couldnt tell the parts apart! :D
This was my prize for winning her Disney tournament and I had so much fun making this. Hope you had fun too love!

We were one person down in this round because in the last round, one duo didnt hand in their videos. Therefore, to make it even again, I invited back an editor that I felt had been on equal playingfield with their competitor (and thus, it should have been a draw).

Fun fact: This actually was done on FCPX, and I was having a lot of fun figuring out all the cool little title things. I can admit that at least THAT, is done better than in Vegas.
ROUND 2 IS HERE!!
The deadline will be the 3rd April (though again, thats in my timezone - Syd Aus).
THE THEME:
This one is called the Elemental Challenge.
Each duo are given an element, and your task is to make a video surrounding the theme of that element.
Listen to Uncle Irohs words;
- Fire = Power
- Air = Freedom
- Water = Change
- Earth = Substance
You can either base your video around his meanings, or come up with your own. Or just make a video with just that element bending in it, or focus on a character from that nation.
IF YOU FOCUS ON ONE CHARACTER: The Avatars can only represent their original elements (e.g.. Aang = Air).
THE SONG is very important too. It should reflect the theme of your video, however subtle that may be.

This one had an exceptional couple that needed three extra judges for. SO HARD TO JUDGE WHYYYY?!
But alas, here we are, and these are the results.
Next round will be round 4; the semi-finals.
And its going to be run a little differently.
Instead of matches, the next round will be a FREE FOR ALL - so youre all versing each other, and the top two videos will move on to the final round.
ROUND 4:
Create a trailer for an episode (or joint episode).
You will be required to source your own music, and use all the elements a good trailer has (titles, voiceovers, etc). ENTICE me to want to watch that episode, but dont give everything away (eg, no spoilers - leave things open).
You can make it only for these episodes (some are paired):
- ATLA: Book 1; 119 & 120 (Siege of the North p1&2)
- ATLA: Book 2: 219 & 220 (The Guru & The Crossroads of Destiny)
- ATLA: Book 3: 308 (The Puppetmaster)
- ATLA: Book 3: 310 & 311 (The Day of Black Sun p1&2)
- ATLA: Book 3: 314 & 315 (The Boiling Rock p1&2)
- ATLA: Book 3: 319 - 321 (Sozins Comet Finale Episodes)

You CAN use clips from other episodes to explain a voiceover or something, but it MUST focus mostly on the episode the trailer is for.
Try and be different. If you see someone with the same idea as you, and you havent started yours yet - maybe pick another episode from the list.

So I promised a lot of people Id upload an MEP soon. But I couldnt decide on what song, or with what footage - so I made three! Isnt compromising fun?!
♕ R U L E S :
1. No Voiceovers.
2. ONLY USE ATLA OR ALOK!
3. Experienced editors only. If you started editing a month ago, dont bother asking to join please. I dont enjoy turning people down.
4. WHEN WATERMARKING YOUR PART - only black and white colours, and it must be relatively small, at the bottom right of the frame, and fairly transparent.
5. Please render your part in 16:9. If you cant even do that yet, then youre clearly not ready to be in one of my MEPs.
6. When you finish your part, POST IT AS A RESPONSE TO THIS VIDEO. Then send your part to me in a message via sendspace.com or something similar.
7. Keep the colouring simple - I hate seeing videos where it looks like someones dipped their part in purple or blue or something. Like, what is that?! And dont use an overlay heavily over your whole part. Just, no.
8. Meet the deadline.

So the MagicalViddingTourn invited me to join their contest.
Im really glad I joined now, because it gave me the motivation to do a live action video, which I havent had inspiration for in a LONG time.
They picked the song; an oldie, but a goodie.
The footage I used is REALLY weird. Such a strange collection haha, but it was all the LA stuff that I found on this computer. Pretty much my two favourite movies of all time, plus Fight Club, and the Harry Potter series, and then my four favourite TV shows. Also sorry some parts are too dark. You can blame my laziness on that one.
Ive also been REALLY busy at the moment guys. Im working around 36hrs a week to try save money for Europe in December, so I havent had much time to sit down in front of a computer and edit things.
