Return to home over water is obviously a baahd situation, but it can be even worse for an experienced FPV pilot. Let's face it, we all make mistakes, especially on that last rushed pack 😅🔥
Other than pride, no goats were harmed in this video.
Always check your signal and give yourself plenty of extra room on the DJI Avata when flying in sketchy situations. Something as simple as turning the drone, or flying past a small object can trigger RTH when you are flying at long range. Also, memorize and practice cancelling RTH. Keep in mind, the cancel button may not always work if the signal is baahd enough. (sorry 😅)
