I decided to challenge myself and build an automated camera arm without using a microcontroller.

Spoiler: it didn't quite work the way I wanted, but the problem is not what I expected.

On the upside, I did learn quite a bit.

Here's some info about the stepper motor driver I used: lastminuteengineers.com/a4988-stepper-motor-driver-arduino-tutorial

This isn't the only way to do it.
It's probably not the best way to do it.
But it's how I did it.
