British children's writer Roald Dahl talks about his writing process and gives a look at his writing space, his backyard and garden, and local small town of Great Missenden. He shows and talks about some of the places of inspiration for some of his most well known books such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The BFG, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Danny the Champion of the World, The Twits, James and the Giant Peach, and The Witches. He also discusses the tough writing process of a then forthcoming book I believe to have been Matilda and reads from The BFG next to a cozy fire.
