Welcome to my channel! This is Andy from I love languages. Let's learn different languages/dialects together.

Filipino is the national language of the Philippines and serves as a standardized form of Tagalog, one of the country's major languages. It is based on Tagalog but incorporates elements from various Philippine languages, as well as foreign languages such as Spanish, English, and Chinese, reflecting the archipelago's diverse linguistic and cultural heritage. Filipino is used in government, education, and media, promoting national identity and unity among the Filipino people. As a language, it continues to evolve, adapting to modern influences while maintaining its roots in indigenous traditions.

The Pangasinan language, also known simply as Pangasinan, is an Austronesian language spoken primarily in the province of Pangasinan and nearby areas in the Philippines. It is part of the Malayo-Polynesian branch and is closely related to other Philippine languages such as Ilocano, Tagalog, and Kapampangan. The language is used by the Pangasinense people for daily communication, cultural practices, and traditional literature, including folk songs and poetry. Despite the influence of other dominant languages like Tagalog and English, Pangasinan remains a vibrant marker of ethnic identity and heritage for its speakers, with efforts ongoing to promote and preserve its usage in education and media.

This video is created for educational, language awareness, and language preservation purposes. It aims to provide valuable insights and knowledge to viewers, enhancing their understanding and appreciation of different languages and their unique characteristics. By raising awareness about linguistic diversity, the video seeks to foster a greater respect and recognition for various languages, particularly those that are endangered or underrepresented. Additionally, it contributes to the preservation of languages by documenting and sharing linguistic knowledge, thus ensuring that these languages and their cultural heritage are not lost to future generations.
