There is some excellent tribal lore in this one. Definitely getting an animism Miyazaki vibe off it as well. If only the shadow creatures wore masks.

Robert E. Howard is perhaps most famous for his Conan the Barbarian series. He wrote all of his works prior to his untimely death at the age of 30. What people dont know is that Howard was a friend and correspondent of H.P. Lovecraft. Lovecraft gave Howard free reign to use his fictional monstrosities and locations in his work. As such Robert E. Howard is quite the prolific horror writer. I intend to cover more of him.
