The Australian Fossil Mammal Sites at Riversleigh and Naracoorte are an interesting and thought-provoking UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located at Riversleigh in outback northern Queensland and Naracoorte in South Australia are two large fossil beds containing the bones of ancient mammals, many of which are long extinct from Australia. For our visit, we headed to Naracoorte, where several caves hold fascinating glimpses of the past. Let's check it out!
