Namhansanseong Fortress is an interesting and unusual UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located in the mountains near Seoul in South Korea, Namhansanseong was designed to be an emergency, backup fortress, so that the government could retreat here and continue functioning in times of war and civil disturbance. Although many of the buildings have been damaged over the centuries, Namhansanseong still has some interesting secrets to explore. Let's have a look!
