Just a few flies here at the moment, sometimes they get bad, and other times there are none around. If there is a bit of wind, it helps reduce the flies on you, but if you hide from the wind like I am behind my Caravan RV, then guess what, that’s where they are hiding too. They disappear as it gets dark and you get a bit of relief, for a while, until the mosquitoes come out to play. You will then be dodging the mosquito bites. It’s all fun; there are worse things that could happen.
It’s well worth the effort for tourists to travel into the Australian Outback, with Remote towns, dirt roads, and great people. I love it all, the views, the isolation, but best of all are the sunrises and sunsets that Outback Australia can put on for you. Don’t forget your Fly Repellent and camera.
