On June 3rd 2018, Austin Horse led a three day ghost ride of late bike messenger Bill Meier's bike from Brooklyn to Albany. The purpose of the 170 mile ride was to advocate for the New York Health Act, a single payer healthcare bill being debated in the New York State Senate in Albany. Passing away at the age of 52 in 2015 from a preventable health condition, Bill Meier would have likely survived had the New York Health Act existed.
