"Auld Lang Syne" might be the most famous Scottish song out there.

An 18th-century poem by Robert Burns combined with a traditional Scottish melody were the recipe for a song that became known around the world.

It is traditionally sung at New Year's ("Hogmanay" in Scottish), but also frequently performed at ceremonies such as Jamborees, funerals, and generally as a farewell song.

"Auld Lang Syne" is a solemn, beautiful piece – I hope you'll find I did it justice with this piano arrangement!
