I-5 North Enhancements Construction Update
During the meeting, the project team provided an overview of ongoing and upcoming construction activities, including:
- Progress on bridge, retaining wall, sound wall, roadway, ramp and paving improvements throughout the project corridor.
- Upcoming traffic shifts and long-term lane reconfigurations associated with Stage 2 construction.
- Upcoming long-term ramp closures at the southbound Hasley Canyon Road/Sedona Way on-ramp and the eastbound Valencia Boulevard on-ramp to southbound I-5.
- Upcoming permanent signage installation and anticipated nighttime freeway closures.
- Coordination with Google Maps, Waze, emergency responders and roadway signage to assist motorists during closures and detours.
- Project noise, dust and stormwater monitoring and mitigation measures.
- Holiday closure restrictions and work-zone safety reminders.
The meeting concluded with a community Q&A, providing attendees an opportunity to ask questions and share concerns directly with the project team.
