During the third meeting of 2026, the Advisory Council will hear from a panel organized by the research subcommittee; updates from federal agencies, including an overview of the authorities of the National Institutes of Health, the Food and Drug Administration, and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services; legislative updates from advocacy groups; and an update on the Robotic-Enabled Microsurgical Intervention for Neurodegenerative Disease (REMIND) Study. Advisory Council subcommittees will also present their recommendations for adoption by

the full Advisory Council.
