Ever wondered how roadway signs are made? In Colorado, CDOT’s in-house sign shop team is responsible for manufacturing upward of 10,000 signs yearly to ensure easy navigation across all state highways.

Each sign goes through an extensive multi-step fabrication process led by our highly skilled sign shop crew. From digital printing and high-tech fabrication, to the final stick-down process, each step is taken seriously. Our sign shop team takes pride in the work they do to inform the traveling public.
