How to set 12V power to stay on without ignition? Theres a cool feature in Audi #A3 (8V) and other vehicles on the MQB platform. You can actually set the cigarette lighter outlet fuse to different position to have the #12V power connector constantly powered or to use it only when the #ignition is on. All you need to do is move the fuse in the cabin fusebox.

ℹ️ You can set the fuse such way, so the power outlet is constantly hot. This will allow you to charge your device even with ignition off.
