How to use Audi Keyless Entry, Start and Exit system (KESSY) with dead battery and start the #engine in an emergency situation. This tutorial shows Audi A3 8V and remote without a #battery. Key is not recognized by the car but there's a procedure to start the engine with dead battery inside #KESSY.
ℹ️ You need to locate the key symbol somewhere in the vehicle (on the steering column cover, on center console, inside glovebox, in cupholder), place the KESSY key over there, and press the engine start/stop button at the same time. Receiver antenna should pick up the immobilizer signal from the remote and allow to start the engine.
🚗 This video was made in Audi A3 8V, but applies to most of the Audi vehicles with KESSY system. Location of the signal receiver might be different, but the method itself is the same for other models. Including, but not limited to: A1, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, Q2, Q3, Q5, Q7, Q8, TT, R8.
