Marco Hatch's research centers Indigenous knowledge and people, despite external forces that often limit Indigenous participation. In this talk, he will share the great work they have been doing to weave Indigenous knowledge and mainstream science, including research on clam gardens, shellfish biotoxins, and climate adaptation. He will also discuss efforts to eliminate institutional barriers to community-based partnerships.
