TAMPA POLICE WORK TO IDENTIFY ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECT
(August 25, 2024) — Detectives are asking the community to look closely at this video and provide information if they can help identify the armed suspect who committed a robbery at Circle K (5320 N. Florida Ave) on August 25, 2024.
At around 5:00 a.m., the suspect was seen standing at the counter before pulling out a firearm and demanding money from the employee. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Surveillance footage shows the suspect taking money from the employee after being threatened.
The suspect was wearing a baseball hat, dark hoodie, and denim jeans, carrying a dark-colored drawstring bag. The suspect was seen leaving Circle K on a bicycle east of Giddens Ave.
Tampa Police detectives are working diligently to identify the suspect and make an arrest in this case. Your tip could be crucial to the investigation.
