In this video, we dive into A-Train running on a vintage Macintosh LC III computer. Originally developed by Artdink in Japan, this classic transport and business simulation game was localized for North America by Maxis as Take the A-Train III in 1992. It's a fascinating blend of city building, train management, and economic strategy.
The game was first released in 1990 for platforms like the NEC PC-9801, Sharp X68000, FM Towns Marty, and PC Engine (TurboGrafx-16). It later came to the US on DOS, Amiga, and Mac, and was re-released for Windows 95/98 in 2000.
