The monitor can be powered by portable power sources and offers a wealth of connectivity options. In addition, there are new features that upgrade the device from a pure monitoring tool to a full-fledged production hub—features that we have already seen implemented in some of the recent product updates for its smaller monitor/recorder series: integrated Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity for NDI HX3 as well as Camera-to-Cloud workflows for platforms such as ATOMOSphere, Frame.io, or Dropbox, AirGlu wireless timecode via Bluetooth or RF for multi-camera setups, and direct camera control via touchscreen, including touch-to-focus for common systems from Canon, Sony, Nikon, Fujifilm, and Panasonic.
