Welcome back to Breakdowns & Beatdowns — where we don’t just react… we dismantle.
Today, Adam of NOLA takes on a bold claim making the rounds in Christian YouTube:
“Atheism is dying.”
Yeah… about that.
In this episode, we dive into a conversation featuring Rouslon KD and Pastor Tony Lee — where they argue that:
• Atheism was just a failed “experiment”
• Young people are flocking back to Jesus
• Without God, morality collapses
• Nihilism = hopelessness
• And somehow… atheists are MORE afraid of suffering
We’re going to break ALL of that down.
🧠 What we cover in this episode:
• The myth that Gen Z is “returning to Christianity”
• Why “New Atheism” was NEVER a movement (and made zero promises)
• The constant Christian tactic of building strawman versions of atheism
• The difference between worship and simply having priorities
• Why the “atheism can’t explain suffering” argument completely falls apart
• The illusion of “objective morality” in Christianity
• How apologists misrepresent atheists on morality (badly)
• The dishonest pivot between suicide and murder-suicide
• Why nihilism ≠ hopelessness (and never has)
• And the biggest issue: calling all of this “common sense”
🔥 Bottom line:
This isn’t a serious critique of atheism.
It’s rhetoric designed to comfort believers — not challenge ideas.
And once you strip away the buzzwords and talking points…
there’s not much left standing.

Do you think atheism is actually declining?
Is nihilism inherently hopeless?
Can morality exist without God?
