Thanks to the latest release of JagDoomEX, a project dedicated to revitalizing the 1994 Atari Jaguar version of DOOM, players can enjoy a host of new improvements. Led by ChillyWilly, with contributions from Joe (Chilly) and the JagDoomEvolved Team, the update overhauls the game's audio and music systems with a new "music-aware" filter that reduces repetitive sound effects during intense action. It also improves performance by optimizing HUD updates, freeing up system resources for smoother gameplay, while adding optional Spectre demons, customizable Atari Jaguar 6-button controller support, and a more stable frame rate.
