This tower clock made by Gillett and Johnston, is nearly identical to one I'd seen in 2005 in London at the Royal Courts of Justice and is the inspiration for the dual Wagner swing frame remontoire used in the astro-skeleton project. Gillett used a cam set to control the remontoire pair's alternate rise and fall while we used a splitting differential.
