This video shows the correction we made to alleviate the hesitation and jerkiness of the Wagner remontoire cages that would occur during the cycling of the remontoire. The remontoire cages are quite large and their mass was the cause of this problem.

This correction involved the use of a coiled spring connected to the escapement arbor and the drive wheel to the escapement wheel and allows the heavy cage to "catch up" with the escapement.
