Italy's Assisi, a UNESCO heritage site since 2000. This journey was made in June 2018. We took Trenitalia at Rome's Termini Station, with about an hour and 50 minute travel. Owners offer van or car tours around the place, outside Assisi station. We visited the following landmarks: Basilica of St Mary of the Angels, San Damiano Church and Sanctuary, Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi, Basilica of St. Clare.
