Papaya Island Beach is located in Nasugbu Batangas. The villagers offer their very affordable cottages, tents for rent in various sizes and prices. The place is about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Baclaran, passing thru Cavitex, then Nasugbu-Ternate Highway and Kaybiang Tunnel. By public transpo - ride a Ternate bus at PITX, fare is 75 pesos, before its last stop - Saulog Bus Compound, alight at Tricycle Terminal and see the signs to different resorts. Tricycle ride going to Banca terminals to Papaya Island is 300 Pesos. Can fit 3 to 4 passengers. Be sure to tell tricycle driver to fetch you back at a designated time for you to return back to the Saulog Bus Terminal, another 300 pesos. From the highway, and a few meters away from Kaybiang tunnel, you will see some parked vehicles. Private vehicles wishing to go to Patungan Cove and Papaya Beach can park in the designated area inside this wide lot, 50 pesos parking fee for a day. Motorcycles can park here too. Upon parking or upon entry, look or ride a banca to Papaya Island, about 20 minutes banca ride. Banca fare may be 100 pesos per head one way. The beach is clean with light beige sand.
