![ESP32 NeoPixel VU Meter For Audio Signals | MAX9814, WS2812B, and Arduino
• Description:
In this video tutorial I show you how to build a Volume Unit (VU) meter using an ESP32, a pair of NeoPixel/WS2812B LED sticks, and a MAX9814 mic on a breakout board. I go over the steps of assembling the hardware, and writing the software using the Arduino IDE, so that the audio signal is read from the mic, and a set of LEDs—proportional—to the amplitude lights up using a wide range of colors.
