I spent the day speaking and teaching frisbee to 68 students from Kindergarten to Grade 8 at Elmworth School.
During the assembly, I shared messages about resiliency, physical literacy, kindness, and getting unplugg'd.
During the workshops, I taught the students all about throwing & catching, ultimate, disc golf, freestyle, guts, dodge disc, creating throws, and inventing games.
Huge thanks to Principal Walker for having me in! The highlight of the day was playing Dodge Disc with the Grade 4-8 students. Hope, a student in grade 4/5 was the star of the game and won the game for her team! I left a Dodgebee at the school so they can continue playing and having fun with frisbee!
