I spent the day speaking and teaching frisbee to students from Grade 6-12 at Dalhousie Regional High School. They learned all about what's possible with frisbee including disc golf, ultimate, dodge disc, and freestyle.
During the assembly, I shared messages about physical literacy, resiliency, kindness, and self-awareness.
A few highlights included:
- Students in the Graded 6-8 class setting the school record for "Most Catches in a Row Without a Drop" at 110
- The basketball coach throwing the disc into the disc golf basket from half court on his first attempt
- Two girls twirling the disc upside down off the ground (puddling) and winning a mini frisbee
