Game play of Assassin's Creed Odyssey on Melos and Eros, as I just arrived on the islands. These islands are also referred to as the Obsidian Islands in game. I did one pirate battle at sea, and skipped the others, simply to demonstrate how a sea battle works. The rest is basic Assassin's Creed mechanics, sneaking around and completing objectives such as clearing a Leader House, and a separate small fortified base. I started the quest chain for Battle of One Hundred Hands, and went up to the part where you first train with Roxana. After I had recorded about an hour of play through, I decided to end the recording there.
As you can see on my save files, I played through as Alexios the first time and racked up about 225 hours, and now I'm playing through the game as Cassandra, to see how different the experience is. I took about a 2 year sabbatical between save files, because after the first time, I definitely needed an extended break.
Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is coming out this year (2026), and personally I have little interest in it, since it's well liked for its ship battles, and I feel like I get enough of that mechanic here in Odyssey.
