A little info on MechWarrior 5: Clans…
MechWarrior 5: Clans is a standalone sci-fi mecha combat game developed by Piranha Games that shifts the series' focus away from the sandbox mercenary life toward a tightly structured, linear narrative campaign. Set in the expansive BattleTech universe during the year 3049, the story follows five newly graduated pilots from the fanatical, high-tech society of Clan Smoke Jaguar as they launch "Operation Revival"—a massive invasion of the Inner Sphere. Built on Unreal Engine 5, the gameplay retains the franchise's signature tactical, simulator-lite mech brawling but introduces a heavy emphasis on storytelling, featuring over two hours of fully voice-acted cinematic cutscenes. Players command a five-mech "Star" squad, dynamically customizing their devastating OmniMechs with interchangeable weaponry and managing their squadmates either via an updated tactical command wheel or through full five-player cooperative multiplayer.
Upon its release, the game received a generally positive critical reception, earning praise for its stunning visual upgrades, deep lore integration, and satisfying, explosive combat mechanics.
