2015 was the 'year' of Final Fantasy for me. I decided I would play one of the main numbered games each month. I ended up finishing incredibly early, but I still accomplished my goal. It was such an experience to play through the main series like that. It's amazing to watch the evolution and how much actually changes between each game. Having done so, I have more respect on the amount of effort the creators put into each of their creations. People may not like each of the games, but that's okay! They are all so unique and different it'd actually be surprising if everyone DID enjoy each installment. I personally enjoyed them all, but I too have my favorites.

Anyway, I created this video to depict my favorite aspect about these games: The emotion, themes, deeper meanings, and the character development/growth. It's pretty easy to rely only on the action scenes in the Final Fantasy franchise, but the level of emotion and the messages each game tries to tell are captivating in their own right and I feel they are often forgotten for other details instead. So this video is my tribute to that.

I was able to use each of the main numbered Final Fantasy at least once except I and V (and the mmo numbered games, I didn't play those because it costs money and I'm cheap) because there animation and scenes simply did not match at all. I also realize the animation style and quality varies drastically as there is only so much that can be done with some of the footage, but I hope that doesn't detract too much from the experience. I wanted to keep it simple, but I actually put quite a bit of work into it. Please enjoy my tribute to my favorite game franchise~
