When I first heard this song it was late at night I had been struggling to worm my way through the world of Xen for about 4 hours, I was weak, tired and low on ammo, but when this song came on it gave me the strength to push forward. It was a reminder that although the journey has been difficult I only need to go a little further. Black Mesa has been a part of my life for the past 6 years, it's been something that for the longest time has been left unfinished, but this song comes in to tell you that tonight's the night that it is finished, you only need to raise your crowbar one last time, better make it count.
Okay so I promise I'm not going to make a habit out of doing 'Half-Life' covers but I had planned to get this one done much closer to Questionable Ethics, but Life got the better of me and so it's coming out now. Covering this song was a blast! The whole thing has such a epic feeling that works perfectly in a metal style. Hope you all enjoy watching it as much as I did making it. Can't wait to hear what you think, and I will see you up ahead.
