I was up in the dells enjoying a fun weekend out with some friends mini golfing and heard this thing go off like once every 30 minutes. So I had the genius idea to camp out after the first Wednesday at it and get a proper video. Well, it ended up rage baiting me for about 2 and a half hours before I could finally get it on video. Every time I would stop recording it would start going off. Happened about 5 times. Finally on my last try of trying to get it going off I got a whole activation. Frustrating to say the least but I don't care, it's cool.

This EC-2 is presumed to be used for boaters on the river near the dam to warn of when the spillway is opening so they can clear the area. According to a dam worker it does a bunch of other signals that mean other things, but Hi-Lo is by far the most used tone. There is no known testing time but it goes off for the spillway opening so much you can basically camp out for an hour and it'll go off at least once.
