The thirteenth edition of Art is in the Square took place in piazza San Lorenzo to celebrate and showcase the last few semesters' work from the Fine Arts, Design and Media arts programmes at Lorenzo de' Medici Institute.

Art is in the square incorporated other events into its programme such as the fashion exhibition Visions at the LdM Gallery and a round table and film screening held by DiscriminACTION, the Event Planning class initiative aiming to bring discrimination and prejudice to light through a series of events and lectures.

We spoke to some students about how it feels to have your work exhibited in one of the most populated squares in the city, their learning experience at Lorenzo de' Medici Institute and how the city of Florence has inspired their artistic practise.
