Welcome to my new series called (Creative)Art Chat!. I invited 5 creatives to answer three questions. Each video will include the creatives answering one question resulting in three videos per set. The next set will include 5 different creatives answering 3 different questions.
So what's the reason behind the series. Initially, it was fascination. I admire so many creatives and it's fun to get a bit of insight and behind the scenes. But I also believe that sharing not only our time but our lessons learned builds a stronger, better art community.

Jeanne Oliver
Jeanne Oliver grew up in rural Illinois and now resides in Castle Rock, CO. She is inspired by our personal stories, travel, and nature.
Jeanne uses art to tell her current stories and also those of growing up among gravel roads, cornfields and early life surrounded by open spaces. Through mark-making, layers and mixed media, she hopes to convey that we all have a story to tell.

Mary Beth Shaw worked in the insurance industry for 18 years before she quit her job in 2000 to re-ignite a childhood love of art. Cat Kerr

Her work has been featured heavily in numerous worldwide publications as well as appearing multiple times on the PBS show “Make it Artsy”. Cat currently teaches classes both online and at retreats around the country. She has collaborated with companies in the Arts industry and created multiple product lines including foam stamps, stencils, and texture plates.
