Safety First and Tips:
When working with a torch be sure to work in a well-ventilated space.
Always wear your safety glasses.
Have a fire extinguisher handy.
Have burn ointment handy.
Do not wear open-toed shoes.
Hold your torch in your less dominant hand and your tweezers/brush in your dominant hand.
Gather everything you need BEFORE turning on your torch!!
How I set up my soldering Station:
Work in an open space.
Make sure you do not have anything flammable close to your station.
I have everything I need on a Cookie sheet. This way I can pick it up and move it around if necessary. Plus a cookie sheet protects your work surface as well as having a protective rim.
