A 56-year-old woman was arraigned Wednesday on a charge of intimidating a witness, juror, or person providing information after allegedly filming jurors in the high-profile Lindsay Clancy trial. Authorities arrested Dawn Light outside a courthouse in Plymouth, Massachusetts, on Tuesday afternoon. During her Wednesday hearing, Light's attorney argued that the incident was a misunderstanding and that the 56-year-old was actually trying to record Clancy, not the jury. The judge released Light without bond but ordered her to stay away from the courthouse and anyone associated with the Clancy trial. Additionally, she was explicitly instructed not to distribute any images or videos captured during the incident. Light is scheduled to return to court for a pre-trial hearing on October 15th.
