With just a handful of returning starters, a lot of spots are up for grabs for the Armstrong football team coming into the 2026 season. After state tournament appearances in 2022, 2023, and 2024, the Falcons dipped to 5-5 last season against a tough schedule that included three state tournament teams. Running backs Ben Francis and Zahki Nix are back to lead the deepest position group for the Falcons. Armstrong opens the season Thursday September 3rd at home against Burnsville.
