In this video, Caleb takes a quick look at a simple but extremely useful accessory for the Garmin chronograph: the Area 419 ArcaMount. The Garmin chronograph uses radar to measure projectile velocity, which is critical for reloaders and anyone running a ballistic calculator. Good chrono data means better inputs, better dope, and better odds of first round hits, assuming your wind call is on point.
Area 419’s ArcaMount gives you a clean way to mount the Garmin directly to your rifle using common mounting standards. Caleb shows how the thumb screw locks into the chronograph, how you can orient it for right-handed or left-handed use, and how the mount clamps onto the rifle behind a bipod for quick, repeatable setup. The base uses a 17S style interface, and you can run it with Arca mounts or swap to 1913 hardware if that fits your setup better.
