Roskilde Festival have clean areas where campers take all other stuff with them, and the stuff left behind in the common areas is often sorted, donated or upcycled, there are plenty of initiatives both in and around the festival, my point is, however, that it is not enough, and that the mess is a symptom of a much bigger issue.
