The Huss Tornado, this one is called "Flipper", debuted around 1987. It travels via three and sometimes four trailers making it one of the largest flat rides on the fairgrounds. It features 12 gondolas that seat up to 4 passengers for a total of 48 passengers.
The platform spins at various speeds and raises up to 50° as the gondolas free spin similar to what a Titl A Whirl does, with the added angle similar to a Round Up. There are three of the Flippers traveling the U.S. with a few copies from other manufacturers. Some are smaller with less passengers (less travel weight).
