I went back to the Rocky Springs Campground for some solo primitive camping. This campground is located in the area of which the town of Rocky Springs was once at in the 1700 & 1800s. The town is a ghost town now for various reasons. Although, there are a few remnants of the town left behind.

The town and campground is located at mile Marker 54.8 on the Natchez Trace Parkway.

I camped here in 2023 when I did my Natchez Trace journey, where I stopped at every stop on the Parkway from end to end. But when I was there I didn't get to do everything that I wanted to do. Severe thunderstorms literally ran me off the hiking trail. I didn't get to complete the trail, and I wanted to come back and try it again...
