Author Roisin Kiberd joins Ireland AM to discuss her new book, The Most Normal Woman, which explores the business behind beauty, self-improvement and our desire to fit in.
Roisin opens up about her own experiences with body image and eating disorders, the influence of social media and the conflicting pressure to love ourselves while constantly being encouraged to change. She also shares what she discovered while exploring worlds ranging from Botox and bodybuilding to perfume, drag and even competitive dog shows.
The Most Normal Woman is out on 27 August.
