Bill Schlegel | Are verses like Matthew 28:19 and 2 Corinthians 13:14 Evidence that God is a Trinity? @billschlegel1 | Uploaded September 2020 | Updated October 2024, 8 minutes ago.
Many Trinitarians point to Scriptures like Matthew 28:19 and 2 Corinthians 13:14 are evidences that God is a Trinity:
"baptize them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit"
"The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all."
We examine these verses and see that these verses are not proclaiming a tri-personal God, but One God (the Father), who has worked through His human Son Jesus the Messiah, and through His spirit.
