In this video we we create a project that uses the GY-87 10 axis module. The module has a BMP180 pressure sensor. We will show you how this component can be used to create an altimeter. We create a portable altimeter that allows mobile operation. The measured altitude or height is displayed on an SSD1306 OLED display. There is a button which you press to identify your base location, and read base pressure. This tutorial is intended to be a useful lesson for beginners and experts alike. Enjoy!

You can pick up a Jetson Orin Nano just like mine here:
https://amzn.to/4e61IuF
Is the $249 NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano a thing of the past?
Today, we’re moving beyond the Buy Now button for a deep-dive forensic audit of the NVIDIA Jetson supply chain. What was once the Gold Standard for entry-level Edge AI has hit a wall, with prices spiking over 40% and factory lead times stretching into next fiscal quarter.
In this video, we arent just looking at Amazon scalpers—we are connecting the dots between your workbench and global geopolitics. From the 4nm silicon war siphoning wafers to high-end data center GPUs, to the 21-mile-wide naval choke point threatening 32% of the world’s helium supply, we’re exposing the Great AI Siphoning.
In this video, I’ll cover:
The Forensic Audit: Why the $249 MSRP is currently a myth and why industrial distributors are quoting 14+ week lead times.
The Great AI Siphoning: How H100s and Blackwell B200s are out-bidding hobbyists at the foundry level.
The Geopolitical Gravy: How helium, natural gas, and fertilizer markets dictate the cost of your next chip.
The Verdict: Buy Now or Wait? I’ll give you the hard truth for professionals, students, and hobbyists on how to navigate this supply crisis.
The market has disconnected from reality, but that doesnt mean your project has to. Pour a glass of ice-cold black coffee, grab a seat, and let’s get to work.

When using the breadvolt, or any battery power supply on a breadboard project, do not turn the power supply on while the Raspberry Pi Pico is connected to USB, as you could generate voltage conflicts. It is an either or. If the USB is connected, the power supply should be OFF. Or if you are going to connect the USB, first turn off the power supply. If you want to power the Pi Pico by the breadvolt, you should power the pico through the Vsys pin. Complete details on use of a portable power supply on your Pi Pico Projects can be found here:

Are you guys ready to learn AI? Will you be one of those that Thrives, or one that does not Survive? AI will be the biggest opportunity of the next hundred years, but at the same time many will be destroyed by it. You have already become proficient in this class on TTS, STT, openCV and Mediapipe. In todays lesson we create will learn how to add the NeoPixel ring to our project. I will show you how to connect it, and then how to control it with the Raspberry Pi. I will take you through a number of interesting light shows. in this video we take things to the next level by creating an amazing Running Rainbow, or RunBow on the NeoPixel Array. Enjoy!
If you feel you need more background and familiarity with Python, I have a whole python class on this channel here:
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLGs0VKk2DiYzguDvh5xk2XoX9V1VKP5Hv.
In this class you will need the following hardware:
AI Fusion Lab Kit, available here:
https://amzn.to/4cla6re
You will also need a pi 5. Get one with as much memory as you can afford, but most pi 5s should work for the class. This is a link.
https://amzn.to/40Gek5n
You will need a heat sink and fan:
https://amzn.to/3PpaEmv
You will need a 25 watt power supply:
https://amzn.to/4c6i1YC
Micro HDMI Cable
https://amzn.to/4lPQz4V
Just about any SD card you have lying around should work, I use a 128GB card. These cards seem to be really expensive right now, so I suggest you try and find one lying around. Smaller cards should work as well. Just find something that will work for now, and stock up when prices are lower.
Any USB mouse and keyboard will work. If you want a wireless one for the pi, look at this one:
https://amzn.to/4d71jte
Guys try as best you can to use things you already have. Hopefully you have keyboard, mouse, sd card and cables and such. The links are in case you do not have the items already.
Here is the link to the special Raspberry Pi Bookworm OS that already has all the AI libraries, modules, dependencies, and device drivers needed in this class. When you flash this operating system, dont mess with it. Everything works, so do not do an update or upgrade-all. This OS is just for this class. If you want to do other things, flash a different card. This is a link to the OS:
https://sunfounder.github.io/download/ai-fusion-lab-kit/index.html
You will also need to install the Raspberry Pi OS imager for flashing the operating system. You can get it here:
