Sorry it took so long to get the rest of Nier archived, this was back when I was testing out multiple-PC streaming and I had a lot of difficulties with things like sound desynchronization to try and resolve, which carried over to the archives. Anyway, where were we? Oh yeah! Tragedy!

I was at one point going to do a lets play of Nier: Automata, but then I streamed the whole thing so it felt a bit pointless to continue it. However, Im really proud of the trailer I made, so here it is! Automata isnt meant to be played/recorded at 60 fps so theres all kinds of weird frame hitches that I wouldve removed in editing had I actually finished this, but its close enough.

Ive been gone a while and Ill have a deeper explanation video for you soon, but the gist of it is that I have been diagnosed with chronic acute-onset prostatitis and the symptoms and treatment have left me more than a little out of shape and very emotionally drained. Regardless, finally having a proper diagnosis and a plan of action is relieving to say the least! Recuperating is going well but slowly, so in the meantime Im going back through my archives to find some gems I never got around to posting, starting with one of my favorite streams Ive ever done. Each year on my birthday I do a full stream of a game I just plain enjoy. It turns out I, uh, forgot to publish 2018s! Before Bioshock, there was... Harry Potter. Thats right, I got back into speedrunning The Surge! And I almost immediately cut half an hour off of the world record! This run was a lot of fun, and Im still hoping for one with no deaths, but Ive got my route down pretty much to a science and now its just a matter of playing better and better until 1h 15m is possible.
