Thanks to Arcade1up/Basic Fun for flying us out to cover their reveal live from San Diego Comic-Con 2026 for the Arcade1Up Supreme Series reveal. Four new home arcade cabinets are being announced today — the Sonic the Hedgehog Supreme cabinet we got a look at back at Toy Fair, plus three that nobody outside Basic Fun! has seen yet.
I'm on the floor at SDCC, camera up, reacting in real time as they drop them. We'll talk about what's actually new here, what the Supreme line is supposed to fix about old Arcade1Up cabinets, and whether the reported price jump is going to fly with collectors.
This is the first big public reveal since Basic Fun! took over Arcade1Up's assets, so it's also a read on where the brand is heading. Full-size cabinets, light-up marquees, decorative coin doors, better build quality — that's the pitch. Let's see if it holds up in person.
